A holiday status update

I am sad to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the Pigeon Toe + Shanna Murray ornaments we launched last week are COMPLETELY sold out. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Bazaar this weekend (all seven thousand of you – holy moly was THAT nuts!) and snatched them up. I know they will be happy in their new trees. And so sorry to those who were not able to get one because of your proximity to our fair city. Shanna and I hate breaking hearts, and hereby pledge that we are developing a line together that is NOT limited edition, so the cruel feeling of missing out will never befall any of you ever again.

Meanwhile, I DO have some stock left of the lovely (and oh so tantalizingly scented) Faceted Votives we produced this season with Luminology. They make fabulous (and reusable) gifts and come in a pretty wood box all ready for giving. Find the set of 2 here, the set of 4 here, and the singles here.

As a side note, the last day to order in stock items from our site (pretty much everything except our made-to-order ceramics) and have them guaranteed to arrive by Christmas via ground delivery is the morning of December 16. After that date you may want to contact our wonderful shipping manager Elspeth to discuss expedited options, depending on how far-flung you are from Portland. Our last day shipping is December 21, after which we close for the holidays until December 28th – so if you opt for store pickup, please note that the 21st is the last day to do so. The deadline for made to order ceramics has come and gone, but we will try our very best to get whatever we can out the door for you on time anyways – depending on stock on hand. You can always head over to our Etsy page to see what ceramics we have in stock for immediate shipping. More information on all of this can be found here.

Happy Holidays to all,

Lisa + Everyone at Pigeon Toe

Collaboration PARTY

We’re debuting a new limited-edition collaboration – a joint effort spanning clay, textile, and paper made with love by Lynn of Satsuma Press, Heather of Skinny Laminx and Lisa. Heather will be joining us in person all the way from South Africa, and Grace Bonney from Design*Sponge will be on hand signing copies of her new book. It’s going to be a great event and we hope you all can make it!

For those of you outside of our beautiful city, any remaining inventory from the event will be listed on our respective websites until it’s gone. There is very limited stock on hand (especially with the ceramics) – so come by West Elm on the 26th if you can for best selection!

Boora / Google

We’re oh so pleased to see images from Boora Architect’s recent renovation project of one of the Google HQ buildings in California. We were hired to design and fabricate a dozen thrown light fixtures, which feature our scribble pattern on the exterior and a mixtures of clear and bright glossy yellow glaze on the interior. Mixed in throughout the dining area amongst the custom shades are our slipcast Striae pendant lights. Behold (images by Boora):

Thanks to the great group of people at Boora for involving us with this project. We love working on custom-designed residential and commercial projects of all stripes and look forward to the next collaboration. If you or your company has an idea that fits with our design aesthetic + material capabilities, please feel free to contact Lisa to discuss in more detail.
