As a side note, the last day to order in stock items from our site (pretty much everything except our made-to-order ceramics) and have them guaranteed to arrive by Christmas via ground delivery is the morning of December 16. After that date you may want to contact our wonderful shipping manager Elspeth to discuss expedited options, depending on how far-flung you are from Portland. Our last day shipping is December 21, after which we close for the holidays until December 28th – so if you opt for store pickup, please note that the 21st is the last day to do so. The deadline for made to order ceramics has come and gone, but we will try our very best to get whatever we can out the door for you on time anyways – depending on stock on hand. Lisa + Everyone at Pigeon Toe

For those of you outside of our beautiful city, any remaining inventory from the event will be listed on our respective websites until it’s gone. There is very limited stock on hand (especially with the ceramics) – so come by West Elm on the 26th if you can for best selection!

Thanks to the great group of people at Boora for involving us with this project. We love working on custom-designed residential and commercial projects of all stripes and look forward to the next collaboration. We’ve teamed up with Luminology to create a limited-edition set of two-ounce soy candles in ten sophisticated scents, contained in a reusable porcelain vessel and packaged in a lovely wood box with a letterpressed lid. Features an unusual wood wick that crackles when lit, sustainably-sourced, phthalate-free soy wax and scents made with essential oils. You can expect to see our signature color palette peeking out and a hand-sanded unglazed exterior. The project is completely handcrafted from start to finish. Available in sets of two or four, it’s the perfect holiday gift.

We are launching this project at the Sunday Best Holiday Sale, which happens this coming weekend (December 4 + 5) at the Ace Hotel’s Cleaners space in downtown Portland. There will be twenty fantastic Portland designers selling textiles, ceramics, handbags, jewelry, cards and more — surely something for everyone on your list. We hope to see you there!

We had an overwhelming response to our collaborative project over the weekend at Little Winter, selling out of most of the vessels in the first two hours — thank you! Shanna will have a limited run of them available at the end of the month at the Second Storie sale in Rochester, and we have a select few left that are now available for purchase here on our website and in our storefront- but hurry, they are going F-A-S-T. we’re completely sold out. Email us to get on a notification list about future editions.

This response has lead us to explore a more long-term partnership so we promise if you miss out now there will be something else spawned from our two brains in the future.

Our most recent custom project, which may be our favorite to date, has just launched. Each vessel is hand-thrown in the wheel in our studio for Luminology, an exciting new handmade candle company based in the midwest. You can purchase the candles, which feature a gorgeous wood wick that crackles when lit,  from their website in ten lovely scents. We’re doubly excited to be working on a joint venture for the holidays. More on that in the months to come. Congrats, Angela, on a beautiful new product.  We’re so pleased to be a part of it.
