Launching March 15! A sampling of things to come:

We’ve teamed up with Luminology to create a limited-edition set of two-ounce soy candles in ten sophisticated scents, contained in a reusable porcelain vessel and packaged in a lovely wood box with a letterpressed lid. Features an unusual wood wick that crackles when lit, sustainably-sourced, phthalate-free soy wax and scents made with essential oils. You can expect to see our signature color palette peeking out and a hand-sanded unglazed exterior. The project is completely handcrafted from start to finish. Available in sets of two or four, it’s the perfect holiday gift.

We are launching this project at the Sunday Best Holiday Sale, which happens this coming weekend (December 4 + 5) at the Ace Hotel’s Cleaners space in downtown Portland. There will be twenty fantastic Portland designers selling textiles, ceramics, handbags, jewelry, cards and more — surely something for everyone on your list. We hope to see you there!

We are pleased to formally present our favorite collaboration to date, a limited edition run of 4 different vessels with the talented illustrator/stylist/optimist Shanna Murray. Her playful and charming letter work elevates our forms to a whole new level, and makes for the perfect holiday or housewarming gift.

We had an overwhelming response to our collaborative project over the weekend at Little Winter, selling out of most of the vessels in the first two hours — thank you! Shanna will have a limited run of them available at the end of the month at the Second Storie sale in Rochester, and we have a select few left that are now available for purchase here on our website and in our storefront- but hurry, they are going F-A-S-T. we’re completely sold out. Email us to get on a notification list about future editions.

This response has lead us to explore a more long-term partnership so we promise if you miss out now there will be something else spawned from our two brains in the future.

Our most recent custom project, which may be our favorite to date, has just launched. Each vessel is hand-thrown in the wheel in our studio for Luminology, an exciting new handmade candle company based in the midwest. You can purchase the candles, which feature a gorgeous wood wick that crackles when lit,  from their website in ten lovely scents.
