Because your purchase should be an heirloom, not a hassle. Because objects are an essential part of your personal history. Because memories should be created, not collected. Because life is too short to be surrounded by anything less than beautiful. Because stories are handed down, not mass-produced. Because design should be timeless and craft should be authentic. Because your objects tell a narrative. Your narrative.

Custom Work
Boora Architects / Google Headquarters Renovation
We created a mixture of hand-thrown and slipcast porcelain pendant fixtures for Boora’s recent renovation project for Google. The thrown shades have our classic scribble pattern on their unglazed exterior, with a mixtures of clear and bright yellow interior glaze. The lights are featured throughout the cafe and dining areas. Images by Bruce Damonte for Boora.
Moule
Hand-thrown porcelain gift sets that tie into Moule’s holiday 2010 “We Are One” campaign :: a set of four shot glasses with a custom-designed tray by Carthagh Craft & Design and a set of 3 small nesting bowls with wood tray.
Luminology
Individually thrown, thick-walled porcelain vessels referencing backyard fire pits for a new modern candle company, Luminology. Glazed in 10 lovely colors with bare sanded exteriors. Available for purchase on Luminology’s website.
The Thing Quarterly – Issue 11
A wine tumbler designed in collaboration with artist Chris Johanson for the summer 2010 issue of the Thing Quarterly, a quarterly object journal based in San Francisco. Available for purchase here.
Clive Coffee Mugs
A hand-thrown (making each one unique) coffee mug for local roaster Clive Coffee, available for purchase in two glaze finishes here. The handle is designed for comfort, while the mug shape is perfect for warming up your hands on a cold morning. The Clive Coffee “C” is stamped on the inside, and the Clive logo is stamped on the bottom.

Lovejoy Light Fixtures
A collaboration between Pigeon Toe Ceramics and Fix Studio. We fabricated (hand thrown on the wheel and then manipulated) the porcelain shades for pendant lights that now hang in Lovejoy Bakery. The shades were then airbrushed with a satin glaze to give a powder coated finish. You can purchase these lights here.
PTC+
PTC+ is an ongoing collaborative project between Pigeon Toe and our favorite women artists. Designs are sold as a limited series, each being individually unique because of their completely handmade process. Below work by (in order) Luminology, Cloth Paper Clay (Satsuma Press + Skinny Laminx), Luminology, + Shanna Murray.
